My name is Erin Truesdell. I’m an Assistant Professor of Informatics at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. My research interests include bringing people together through unusual game controllers and other creative applications of technology. You may know me as the developer of Haber Dasher, a wacky game controlled by a gigantic bowler hat. My current work focuses on studying social, embodied, and collaborative aspects of play, as well as the novel application of game and digital media design techniques in healthcare and informal learning.
