My name is Erin Truesdell. I’m a postdoctoral research associate at XR Pediatrics at Yale University, jointly funded with the Entrepreneurial Game Studio at Drexel University. I’m a game developer and musician, and my research interests include bringing people together through unusual game controllers and other creative applications of technology. You may know me as the developer of Haber Dasher, a wacky game controlled by a gigantic bowler hat. My current work focuses on studying the social and embodied aspects of play, as well as the novel application of game and digital media design techniques in healthcare.
